Creepers Nursery recently participated in the soft launch of The Glasshouse Collective, an initiative led by Landform Consultants. This new platform aims to unite landscape designers and professionals, providing an opportunity to explore the latest trends and techniques in the field. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, The Glasshouse Collective aspires to inspire fresh ideas and promote sustainability within the landscape and garden design community.
The event also featured the Landscape Plus Meet The Suppliers, which offered a valuable opportunity for landscape professionals to engage with industry-leading suppliers. Each event is carefully curated to include 10-15 suppliers, ensuring a diverse range of products, systems, and brands with no overlaps. Participants could connect with suppliers offering everything from hardscape materials to outdoor lighting solutions.
The Meet the Supplier event operates as a non-profit initiative, with ticket sales—priced at £10—donated entirely to Perennial, the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting individuals in horticulture and their families during challenging times.
The Glasshouse Collective serves as a design hub, incorporating reclaimed elements from previous projects, such as old chimney pots, alongside partnerships with leading suppliers. These features are beautifully displayed around a large 1960s commercial glasshouse salvaged from Landform Consultants’ yard, which previously functioned as a nursery.
The soft launch took place in Chobham on Thursday, October 3rd, featuring a range of demonstrations and an engaging industry debate led by Phil Tremayne of the APL. During the event, Creepers Nursery showcased a selection of their unique and diverse offerings, emphasising their commitment to sustainability and quality.
The Glasshouse Collective will officially launch in April 2025. For more information, make sure you’re following the Instagram account.
