Creepers Nursery Supports The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles Show

Creepers Nursery Supports The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles Show

We were delighted to contribute to the recent Future Textiles Show, an inspiring event hosted by The King’s Foundation to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Future Textiles Programme. Held on October 16 at the historic Garrison Chapel in London's West End, the event was a wonderful gathering of industry leaders, creatives, and supporters of the UK textile industry.

Launched in 2014 by His Majesty The King, then Prince of Wales, the Future Textiles Programme was created to address the growing skills gap within the UK textile industry. Over the past decade, the programme has benefitted more than 7,000 individuals, providing a range of educational courses that equip participants with valuable textile skills. The Future Textiles Show marked a milestone in showcasing the talent and achievements of those involved in this important initiative.

At Creepers Nursery, we were proud to lend our support by providing a selection of stunning trees to help transform the event space. Among the varieties supplied were Pittosporum tobira and Olea europaea (olive trees), which brought a touch of natural elegance to the venue, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the celebration.

We’re always thrilled to contribute to events that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and community, and this occasion was no exception. It was an honour to be a part of such a prestigious celebration, and we look forward to continuing to support future endeavours with The King’s Foundation.

Rosie - Chapel Exhibitions Manager said of the collaboration - “We were thrilled to have some living trees at the show and are looking forward to working with Creepers for future events".
