The Boodles Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024
Creepers were delighted to supply specimen plants and shrubs to complete Catherine's design for The Boodles National Gallery Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024, from our extensive selection of Trees, Perennials, Shrubs and Topiary ranges.
The Boodles National Gallery Garden will be Catherine’s sixth RHS Chelsea garden and marks her return to the iconic flower show after a five-year break following a run of gold medals in 2017 and 2018 for the pioneering non-alcoholic drinks brand Seedlip. It is inspired by the 200th anniversary of The National Gallery, drawing from a selection of the gallery’s most significant artworks.
Artistic elements including colours, textures and hidden details from the likes of Monet, Klimt and Turner celebrate nature’s influence over art. A backbone of metal arches, echoing the repetition and perspective elements in the paintings of Canaletto and Claude, draws the eye through the garden and over two water features inspired by Gallen-Kallela’s ‘Lake Keitele’ and Monet’s ‘The Museum at Le Havre’.
